Listen to Emergency Physician, Dr Clare Skinner’s advice to be prepared these holidays.

If you live in Greater Sydney, regional or rural NSW, and have to travel, it's important to be prepared:
• Pack medication, scripts and your medical history from your GP.
• Visit a COVID-19 testing clinic if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are mild.
• If you need medical attention, visit a pharmacy, speak to your GP or call HealthDirect 1800 022 222 or visit www.healthdirect.gov.au
• In an emergency go to a Hospital Emergency Department or call Triple Zero (000)

Do not travel if unwell, stay home and get tested immediately.

Symptoms of COVID-19 can include fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell or loss of taste, fatigue, muscle pain, joint pain, headache, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, unexplained chest pain and conjunctivitis.

When you get tested for COVID-19 it’s free, quick and easy. Most people in NSW receive their test results within 24 hours.

There are more than 350 COVID-19 testing locations in NSW. To find your nearest clinic visit https://www.nsw.gov.au/.../how-to-protect.../clinics
